• A phone

1. The first time you call, your girl will most likely not pick up. Some women do this to see what a guy will say on their answering machine. Some girls will just have simply lost interest by then. Gauge your chances by throwing the ball back in her court.
   
   
   Do not leave a message on the first callback. Everyone has caller ID these days. She knows it's you.
   
   
2. Step 2 is only if the girl doesn't call back after step 1. This is an incredibly crucial step.
   
   
   If the girl doesn't call back, FORGET ABOUT HER for 2 days and go about your business. Get other girls' phone numbers and other dates if you can.
   
   
   
   Put an X on your calendar to call her back for the final time in 2 days.
   
   
3. On the second callback, if she doesn't pick up, you will leave a message. Note that either way, this is the final time you will call her without her calling you.
   
   
   To increase your chances of a callback, your message should be short and witty. Give her a SHORT re-introduction about where you met (4-5 words max), and excitedly tell her about the surprise you have waiting for her should she be smart enough to call you back. Pique her interest by making her think you have the best date in the world planned.
